Services We Provide

Full Traditional Burial

We offer personalized full service traditional funerals and burials through Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel. Allow us to work with you to design a custom service, at our facility, your church or other location, paying special attention to religious customs and personal preferences. We offer a full line of caskets and burial vaults. We will transport the deceased to the chosen cemetery, where any graveside rites can be performed. Our professionals will handle all the details, including contacting clergy, cemetery arrangements, and luncheon planning.

Traditional Cremation

Some people are unaware that there is actually an option in between direct cremation and a full traditional burial. We refer to this as traditional cremation. You may choose this service if you wish to be cremated, but want to have a traditional viewing and ceremony beforehand. We offer different options for casketed viewing in this case. You are not required to purchase a casket.

We can accommodate services at our facility, at your church or other location. Cremation will take place after the ceremony. The options for final disposition are then the same as a direct cremation (burial of cremated remains, scattering, or kept in an urn or other container).

Direct Cremation

We offer a full range of cremation options. We have our own on-site crematory and a full staff to assist you with whatever your needs may be. After choosing cremation for final disposition, it is then time to determine the type of memorialization.

Our convenient location, large chapel, and kitchen area make hosting a memorial service easy, whether you are looking for a religious ceremony or something a little more contemporary. If you prefer to have a Celebration of Life at another location, we can also assist with all the arrangements. You may then choose to bury the cremated remains in a cemetery, scatter, or keep them in a decorative urn or other container.

No Matter What You Choose, We Are Here for You!

In any of the above cases, we can help you take care of some of the other smaller, but equally important details as well. We can help you prepare obituaries, design and print custom memorial folders, provide a register book and thank you cards, or produce a heartwarming memorial DVD with your own pictures and music. We will also arrange for military honors for veterans at the family’s request.

Let us help you design a service as special and memorable as the life that was lived. Maybe mom or dad didn’t want a “funeral”. What if you could have a party to celebrate their life instead? We can help you plan an event that will honor your loved one the way you want. We encourage families to bring in personal memorabilia or collections the deceased had. Balloon releases are also a therapeutic way for everyone to participate in the celebration. 

For those who are more adventurous, we can also help you coordinate the following specialized services:

• Scattering of cremated remains by helicopter
• Scattering of cremated remains at sea
• Horse-drawn hearse procession to cemetery (local only)
• Ammunition made with a portion of cremated remains (your choice of caliber)
• Have a portion of cremated remains sent into space
