William James Tenney Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William "Pa-T" Tenney who left this world July 7, 2026 at the age of 78.

Bill was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather, veteran, and loyal friend. He lived a life defined by his love for his family, service to his country, and passion for the open road.

For 57 years, he shared a genuine marriage with the love of his life, Sally. Together they built a strong family, raising five children and created a legacy that grew with 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. A proud veteran, he served his country with honor and carried the sense of duty and integrity throughout his life.

He could often be found enjoying the freedom of riding his Harley, embracing the open road and the peace it brought him.

He will be remembered for his strength, unwavering love and kindness. He will be deeply missed by us all.

A celebration is will be held on Friday, July 17 at the VFW Post 305, 1300 Starr Ave., Eau Claire from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A burial with military honors will take place at Eastlawn Cemetery, Augusta at 11:00 a.m.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family.
