Viola Ann Ritchie

Viola Ritchie 3/18/1933 - 1/8/2026

Viola was born in Saint Paul, MN in 1933 to Sybilla Lynch. She enjoyed her many entrepreneurial pursuits. Fond memories of Viola are with her children picknicking and going to the lake house. Viola met and married, William Ritchie and had 5 children. She moved to Spooner, WI in 1986 where she remained for the duration of her life. Viola will always be remembered for her cooking and hosting holiday events. Viola treasured her time as a grandmother of 11 grandkids and 10 great grandkids. She devoted her time to reading, church, travel and her family.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Sybil Lynch and sisters Arlene Olsen and Betty Bull.

Viola is survived by her children Carol Schulz, JoAnn Hansen, Barbara Noyes, Michael Ritchie, and Sharon Cavanagh.

Viola passed at Dove Healthcare in Spooner on the evening on 1/8/26 in presence of family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. There will be a celebration of life this coming summer.
