Timothy Small

September 14, 1957 — September 18, 2021

Timothy Scott Small (64) passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Tim was born on September 14, 1957 to Charles and Marcia (Eckwright) Small. He grew up in his family home that his father and mother built with love.

Tim married the love of his life, Colleen “Kelly” (O’Brien) Small on August 15, 1981. Tim welcomed Kelly’s daughter, Veronica Michelle Marie, and two more children, Jesse Lee and Catherine Ann, with Kelly.

He enjoyed camping trips with family and grew up to love football which he later played in high school. Tim had a very contagious sense of humor and would quite often laugh at himself for it and those around would join in.
He truly enjoyed going on walks and had a passion for westerns and anything sci-fi from UFOs to Bigfoot. He loved to watch football but loved wrestling most of all. He was a hard-working man dedicated to providing for his family and also became a generous caregiver, caring for both his wife Kelly and mother Marcia in their final years.

Tim was funny, caring, and will be missed by all that knew him. May he be at peace.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Tim is survived by his siblings Linda (Robert) Kruger, Michael (Pam) Small, Larry (Carolyn) Small; children Veronica (Ed) Allen; Jesse (Isa) Small, and Catherine (Jason) Mueller; grandchildren Shane (Emily) Allen, Anthony (Lacey) Allen, Elias Allen, Catherine Small; great grandson Oliver Allen; and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

A private service will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life reception on Saturday, October 9 from 1-4 p.m. at Wheaton Town Hall. Masks required.
