Timothy Michael Reali

Aug 5, 1955 — May 26, 2026

Tim Reali, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home on May 26, 2026.

Tim was born on August 5, 1955, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Tony and Jeanne Reali. He grew up in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School in 1973 before continuing his education at Wisconsin Indianhead Vocational Technical Institute.

At just 16 years old, Tim began working in the grocery business, a profession that quickly became his lifelong passion. Over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, he worked at Consumers Co-op, Mega East, and Mega West, where he earned the respect and friendship of countless coworkers, customers, and community members. His strong work ethic, dedication, and friendly nature made him a familiar and trusted presence wherever he worked. Tim retired in 2017 after a successful and fulfilling career.

Tim found great joy in the outdoors. He loved deer hunting, turkey hunting, and spending time fishing at the family cabin in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Some of his happiest moments were spent at the cabin surrounded by family and friends, enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the Northwoods. He was also an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals and could often be found working on a crossword puzzle in his spare time and enjoying watching the Packers and Brewers.

Above all else, Tim cherished his family. A soft-spoken man with a gentle spirit and a remarkably kind heart, he had a special love for children and treasured the time he spent with his nieces and nephews. Family gatherings, holidays, and simple moments together meant the world to him. His quiet compassion, generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Jeanne Reali.

He is survived by his siblings, David Reali, John Reali, Nancy Groene, Maria (Doug) Belt, Jeff (Kari) Reali, and Steve Reali; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, who will miss him greatly.

In keeping with Tim's generous spirit and love for helping others, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or the Wounded Warrior Project, organizations that held a special place in his heart.
