Susan Partlow-Ottum

Susan R. Partlow-Ottum, 85 Town of Rusk, Chainlake, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

She was born in Eau Claire, on April 21, 1940 to Helmer and Junice Tiller. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High and married her first husband Donald Partlow in August of 1958. Donald later passed away on July 4 of 2000. She worked at the Mayo Health System for many years as an OBGYN receptionist. Sue married Ron Ottum in January of 2004. Susan enjoyed watching softball, gardening, baking, traveling to Lake Havasu City, Arizona and going out for a Friday fish fry.

Susan is survived by her husband Ron, Sue's children John (Gail) Partlow of Wascott, WI, Mark (Joy) Partlow of Mondovi, WI, Ann Partlow of Eagan, MN; grandchildren Emily (Jordan) Lieffring of Durand, Bailey and Benjamin Helland; great-granddaughter Layla Lieffring; Ron's son Kraig (Significant other Lori) Ottum of Eau Claire, two grandchildren, Keith Ottum, Meghan (Josh) Curtis and great-granddaughter Adalynn of Fall Creek, WI.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Don Partlow, a brother David Tiller, grandson Joe Partlow and stepson Keith Ottum.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Saving Grace Lutheran Church 3735 Jeffers Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54703. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until time of service.

Memorials for Susan may be sent to Saving Grace Lutheran Church, Hope Gospel Mission, or a charity of your choice.
