Steven Parson

Steven Kent Parson passed away peacefully in Hospice care surrounded by family on December 31, 2025 in Mondovi, WI after a seven-year battle with cancer. He was born in Bemidji, Minnesota on August 17, 1942.

He graduated from Deer River High School in 1960 and joined the United States Air Force. Steve married Sharon Talcott on November 5, 1960. They had four children Marnie, Mickey, Jennifer and Jake (Kim) Parson. They have several great and great grandchildren.

During his service in the Air Force, they were stationed in many states and he graduated from University of Maryland in 1968 in Business and Management. For 25 years the family lived in Amery, Wisconsin.

Steve was a foreman for Doboy Packaging for twenty-two years. Later in life he and Sharon still traveled and retired in Mondovi. He was a man of many talents and loved to stay busy. He loved carpentry, wood working, camping and was an avid reader. At the end of his life, he loved doing Sudoku and watching baseball.
