Steven Andrew Kallenbach Sr.

Steven A Kallenbach Sr. age 75 was born August 15, 1950 in Shell Lake WI to Byron (Oscar) and Bette Kallenbach. He graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1970 went on to serve our country for 30 years retiring as a Lt Co. He was a lifetime member of the VFW post 305 and Eau Claire American legion. During his time in the Army reserves he worked at Consumers CO-OP and Direct Oil company in the petroleum department. After his retirement from Direct Oil, he spent his free time delivering fertilizer, supplies and enjoying visiting with many farmers for Synergy Co-op.

He is survived by his children, Steven Jr (Denise) Kallenbach and Chad (Kate) Kallenbach; grandchildren, Jessie Kallenbach, Whitney (Joe Kozy) Kallenbach, Jewelia Galindo, Lucas (Brooke) Kallenbach and Devan Kallenbach; and great-grandchild Ava Poirier.

He was Preceded in death by his parents; Byron (Oscar) and Bette Kallenbach; Brother Rodney Kallenbach; Daughter, Lisa Kallenbach

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. A meal will be served at 1:30 p.m. at the VFW 305 on Starr Ave to follow.
