Shirley Mae Blaisdell

Shirley Mae Blaisdell, 89, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on April 28, 2026.

Shirley was born in Eau Claire on July 18, 1936, to Jack and Gladys LaMuska. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1955. On October 10, 1956, Shirley married Philip Blaisdell, and together they shared 54 years of marriage.

Shirley worked for much of her adult life at Deluxe Bakery and Sue's Bakery, where she worked alongside her sister, Lucy Boettcher, and her niece, Sue Ranney. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the casino, and playing bingo with them.

Shirley is survived by her children, Julie (Don) Christ, Terri Halverson, Rodney (Ruth) Blaisdell, and Randy (Carla) Blaisdell; her grandchildren, Aaron (Alison) Christ, Jessica (Adam) Feldman, Bryan Blaisdell, and Kelli Blaisdell; her great-grandchildren, Clara, Elsie, and Hank Christ, and Avery and Adley Feldman; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Blaisdell; her parents, Jack and Gladys LaMuska; her siblings, Roger, Howard, Weslyn, Annabelle Kinderman Bjorklund, and Lucille Boettcher; and her grandson, Shawn Christ.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caregivers at BeeHive Homes of Eau Claire, Heritage Assisted Living, and St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful love, care, and support they provided to Shirley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 6, 2026, at Stokes, Prock & Mundt. Visitation will be held before the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
