Scott Gutsch

Scott Ramon Gutsch, age 52 of Altoona passed away Monday November 1, 2021, at his home.

Scott was born November 6, 1968, son of Ramon and Mary Gutsch. He graduated from Altoona High School in 1988.
In high school, Scott proudly served as the team manager for many of the athletic teams and could be seen walking the streets of Altoona with his boombox. His love of music and sports carried on throughout his life. He had a large music collection and enjoyed the opportunity to DJ whenever he had the chance.

Until failing health, Scott spent many years working at Reach in Eau Claire and participating in Special Olympics. He most recently enjoyed serving as a member of the Altoona Lions.

Scott held a special place in the hearts of many. He loved his family and friends very much and made sure to check in with frequent phone calls and messages. He was the source of information for the family since he never forgot a date or an event.

Scott is survived by his father Ramon Gutsch and brother Chad Gutsch of Eau Claire.

He is currently enjoying a wonderful reunion with his mother Mary Gutsch who passed before him.

A time of remembrance will be at 11:00 am on Sunday November 14, 2021, at Stokes Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial at Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek will be held at a later date.
