Sarah Mae Kiker was born July 19, 1976, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to parents Elizabeth Register and Charles LeRoy II.
Growing up, Sarah spent the better part of her youth playing with friends outdoors, laughing, smiling, and catching frogs near DeKalb, Illinois before returning briefly to Minnesota. She ultimately settled in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
At home, it was rare to find Sarah without an adorable cat by her side and often a couple of cute critter companions nearby. Her heart was drawn to things oftentimes over looked; from making sure the local birds, squirrels, and deer always had full tummies to spending all fall making blankets for those in need. She never stopped caring. Her greatest joy was giving birth to her two wonderful children Tianna and Devin. She did everything for her two preemies and kept them alive against all odds. Which lead her to founding the family support group, Passion for Preemies, helping hundreds of mothers and young families find much needed resources and support. She loved journaling, camping, video games, thrifting, movies, backgammon, fishing, crafting, paintball, and so many other creative activities. Growing up in a Christian home and church, Sarah enjoyed Ladies Bible Studies, Bible journaling, and listening to worship music. Her kindness and tender heart were shared with all in need. And her resilient faith stood by her through many trials and hardships.
Now, free from pain, she joined her Heavenly Father on September 1, 2025.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father Charles Richard LeRoy II, her grandparents, Charles Richard LeRoy and Alleen LeRoy and Orin "Cash" Register and Vera Mae Register, her aunt Norita Butzer and uncle Kenneth Register. She is survived by her beloved husband Casey Kiker and children Tianna Erickson and Devin Erickson, her mother Elizabeth Register, her siblings Kathryn (Tony) Hill, Philip (Laura) LeRoy and Andrea (Josh) Clauson and her four cherished kitties: Meep, Itty, Crikit, and Tazzy.
Sarah was laid to rest where her journey began in Redwood Falls, Minnesota on Tuesday, September 9 with an intimate graveside service. A Remembering of Sarah will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2pm at Cornerstone Christian Church located at 310 W. Polk Ave. Eau Claire, WI 54701.
