Sally Lou Kinderman

Sally Lou Kinderman, age 87, of Holmen, formerly of Eau Claire, passed away at home on Thursday, April 9, 2026 surrounded by family.

Sally was born in Wausau to Douglas and Emma France on March 14, 1939. As a child, her family moved to Eau Claire where she grew up and graduated high school in 1957.

Sally was married to Robert Kinderman on July 21, 1984. They were married for nearly 42 wonderful years.

Sally was an extremely hard worker. She worked multiple jobs as a bartender, store clerk, and waitress to support her children as they grew up, her favorites being a waitress at Stafne's and bartender at The Fox Run. In her spare time, Sally enjoyed many different hobbies and activities including fishing, playing card games, doing puzzles, going to the casino, dancing polkas and knitting dishrags for just about everyone. She was most known for her famous chicken dumpling soup which was a family favorite and will never quite be replicated. Her positive spirit was infectious and she knew how to have a good time. She will be dearly missed by many.

Sally is survived by her loving husband Bob; children Scott (Deidra), Susie, Cindy (Rod), Jimmy, Caroline (Steve), Mike (Beth) and Rob (Sara) and too many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews to count but she loved them all.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Glenn, Kay and Jimmy and her beloved son Tony.

A celebration of life to honor Sally's fun nature will be held from 1 P.M. until 4 P.M. on Saturday, May 30 at The Fox Run Tavern, 1515 N 65th Ave, Eau Claire.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Emplify Health Hospice for the loving care shown towards Sally, it was truly wonderful.
