Ruth Emily Hagman

Ruth E. Hagman, age 82 of Drammen Township, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 13, 2026. Ruth was born in LaCrosse on November 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Matthew and Alma Behm.

Ruth loved to go fishing for crappie and perch. She enjoyed her time living in the country growing asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, flowers and feeding the birds. She also loved traveling with her family and quilting with the ladies at Drammen Lutheran Church. Her family was the most important thing and would remind them in trying times "This too shall pass."

Survivors include her husband, Bert; daughters Betty (Dan) Staab and Wende (Gary) Brunner; grandchildren Nathan (Heather) Teigen and Nicole (Mike) Sandberg-Johnson; great-grandchildren: Ben Falkner, Abby Teigen, Charlie Sandberg-Johnson, Anna Teigen and Harper Sandberg-Johnson; step-children: Robert Hagman, Jeffrey Hagman, Brandie Hagman and Shannon Hagman; step-grandchildren Jessica (Eric) Langer and Jacob Hagman; sister Irene (Dan) Wemette; and many family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, daughter Charlene, step great-grandson Dylan Passa and sister Carol Treakle.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, May 1, at Drammen Lutheran Church, S12275 Cty Rd B, Mondovi with Pastor Michael Isaacson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. There will be lunch to follow the service.
