Ronald Boggess

Ronald C. Boggess, of New Auburn, WI, was reunited with his Wife Andrea on Thursday April 10, 2025 at the age of 80.

Ronald was born in New Auburn on July 23, 1944 to Clifford and Inez (Tubbs) Boggess. After high school, Ronald enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country for 4 years.

On December 21, 1963 Ronald married the love of his life Andrea Cottingham whom he shared 61 years of marriage with and had 3 sons Patrick, Daniel and Larry.

After being discharged from the Army, Ronald worked a variety of jobs including at Whirlpool in St. Paul, MN, Land O' Lakes LP Gas in Clear Lake and New Richmond, and finally retired working as security at Jerome's Turkey Store in Barron.

Ron loved to be around his family as much as possible. He enjoyed telling old family stories of his parents and grandparents, occasionally letting a few of his own secrets out. He enjoyed raising animals while living in the country and the farm, and spending as much time as possible outside doing yardwork. When he had to be inside, he enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour and Lonesome Dove books. He loved the movie Lonesome Dove and would occasionally quote a line or two when around family.

Ronald is survived by his sons Patrick (Tina) of Spooner, Daniel (Uli) of Neudenau, Germany and Larry (Cindy) of Chippewa Falls; sister Diane (Jerry) DeMars; 10 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Andrea, his parents Clifford and Inez; brothers Darrel, Delmer, Arlyn and Kenneth; sisters Lorraine Sirinek, Dolores Evans, Arlys Plummer, and grandson Austin.

Per Ronald's wishes, there will be no service.
