Ricky Hazelton, 61, of Eau Claire, Wi, passed away on April 17, 2025, surrounded by his cherished loved ones.
Born on March 31, 1964, Ric lived a remarkable life filled with passion, hard work, and a thirst for adventure. An accomplished mechanic, Ric owned and operated his own shop for several years, showcasing his skill and dedication.
Later in life, Ric, along with his beloved wife Christine, embraced a new chapter as "Treasure hunters." Each day brought a new adventure, and Ric was endlessly amazed by the treasures they discovered together over the years. His love for exploration made every moment vibrant and full of joy.
Ric also had a deep love for hunting and fishing, passions he especially cherished when shared with his "partner in crime," his brother Ran. The stories they brought home were as countless as they were legendary, and their bond was truly priceless-a testament to the love they had for one another.
Above all else, Ric was immensely proud of his family. He loved being a dad and took great pride in his two sons, Josh and Jake, and his grandson, Blake. Ric and his brother-in-law, Larry, shared a strong bond, and he had a special connection with his niece, Amanda, as well as an incredible bond with Jason (Chicken), who was not only family but also Ric's biggest fan. Ric also adored his step-granddaughters, Hayden and Kennidee.
Ric is survived by his loving wife Christine, whom he shared 23 years of marriage with, his mother Emma, Son Josh and Jake, Grandson Blake, his brother Ran and wife Linda, his sister Brenda and husband Nate, stepchildren Shannon (Casey), Kara (Mike), and Keaten, Step Granddaughters Hayden and Kennidee, Brother-in-Law Larry, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ric is preceded in death by his father Jerry, his mother-in-law Barbra, and his stepson Jamie. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Ricky's life will take place on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Riverview Park (2712 Riverview Dr, Eau Claire, WI 54703).
