Richard B. Boyd. Jr., 54, Chippewa Falls, WI; Passed away January 20th from a massive Heart Attack. Richard worked at Silver Springs in their bottling dept. and was known for his very loving and gentle soul.
Richard had an extensive interest in photography, traveling throughout the Midwest, visiting and photographing various lighthouses, - with a particular interest in the Split Rock Lighthouse (and the Edmond Fitzgerald). He was also an avid Bears fan. Richard loved cars. He had an avid interest in NASCAR attending the Brickyard 400 every year, and attended classic car shows thorough out the Midwest including the Chicago Auto Show, annually.
Richard is survived by his father, Richard Boyd, Sr. of Addison, TX, his mother, Judith H. Boyd of Eau Claire, WI (for whom he was the sole caregiver), cousin Kristin Hall of MN and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Lloyd Q. Boyd (Geneva Heath) of Highland IN and Haskell Hall Jr. (L. Dale) of Eau Claire WI.
A time of gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
