Ray Bernerd Flanscha

Ray B Flanscha, age 74, passed away on July 4, 2026 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Eau Claire, WI. He was born June 26, 1952 in Menomonie, WI to Roy Flanscha and Shirley (Austreng).

Over the years, Ray had jobs in factories and painting, but eventually settled into his career driving dump truck for Lamm Trucking and later BS Construction. He enjoyed classic vehicles, reading and watching westerns, hunting, fishing and a good cup of coffee. For many years, he took pride in cooking maple syrup with his family.

He is survived by his three children; Melissa Hofacker, Cory (Kelsey) Flanscha and Marcie (James) Flanscha, 5 grandchildren; Dylan, Tyler, Brooks, Adalynn and Thomas, as well as 5 siblings; Marilyn Bignell, Charlotte DeLong, Geneva Hitchcock, Linda (Gary) Ledbeter and Lorn (Colleen) Flanscha.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Shirley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Elmwood Auditorium, 323 W Winter Avenue Elmwood, WI on Saturday August 15th from 12-4pm. Burial will take place at Poplar Hill (Rock Elm) Cemetery in Elmwood at 11:00 A.M. on August 15.
