Nancy Peterson

Nancy A. Peterson, age 56, died Thursday, July 3, 2025, at home. Nancy was born July 1, 1969, in St. Paul, MN, to John W. and Cecelia A. (Auchampach) Peterson. Nancy spent her life touching the lives of many people throughout the community with her infectious smile and friendship.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Joyce Marsh and Sally Wallace, many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy was working at the L.E. Phillips Career Development Center where she enjoyed working, spending time with her friends and attending all events. The family would like to thank the people at REM Wisconsin; CDC.; and The Arc Eau Claire, Inc. for their care and support of Nancy.

Nancy is survived by many friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of working with her and being part of her life.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
