Oct 15, 1993 — Oct 3, 2026

In Loving Memory Michael Denzel Johnson Michael Denzel Johnson, 32, died on October 3, 2026, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Born on October 15, 1993, in Eau Claire,

Michael spent his life connected to the place where he was born. He was a believer who explored religion and spirituality through self-directed study, and that spiritual side remained an important part of his life.

Michael will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him. His contagious smile, playful sense of humor, and ability to bring laughter into everyday moments left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who knew him. Though his life ended far too soon, he is remembered with deep love for the warmth and happiness he shared so freely.

He found enjoyment in many interests that re ected both his creativity and his love of simple time well spent. Music was especially meaningful to him, and he wrote song lyrics as an outlet for his thoughts and expression. He enjoyed watching sports, gaming, and anime, and he played Pokémon Go every day. He also loved hunting with his grandfather and brother, shing, and time at the lake. Above all, he valued spending time with family and the shared memories made in those moments.

Michael is remembered by his mother, Melissa Johnson; his brother, Austin Johnson; his sister, Jada Hon (Johnson); his aunts, Amy Starks (Johnson) and Stacy (teetee) Severson (Johnson); his uncle, Eric Severson; his grandfather, Orville Johnson Jr; his grandmother, Patricia Johnson; his cousins, Brandon Starks, Alex Severson, Garrett Severson, and Layne Severson; and his girlfriend, Anna Jensen, with whom he was expecting their son in February. Also his daughter Myah Johnson.

As we say goodbye to our dear Michael, we hold fast to the memories and the love he shared with us all. As his family lovingly expressed, "Though his life was cut far too short, his contagious smile, playful sense of humor, and ability to bring laughter to those around him will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of others."
