Michael Caldwell

Michael Paul Caldwell, 46, passed away suddenly on November 9, 2025.

He was born on October 24, 1979, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1998 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in 2003.

While in college, Michael co-founded C&T Construction. After college, he worked briefly at Indianhead Glass in Hudson, Wisconsin. He quickly learned that a desk job wasn't for him and resumed ownership of C&T Construction. Though he took pride in his construction work, it was the camaraderie with his crew and the relationships with homeowners that brought him the most fulfillment.

Michael had a friendly nature and a passionate spirit that extended into every part of his life. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and joy in nature. “The Legend” loved hunting deer, turkeys, and coyotes and had an equal love for fishing—always chasing after the biggest walleye and perch.

Outside of work and the outdoors, Michael enjoyed spending time at the gym with his fitness community. He enjoyed lifting weights, relaxing in the sauna, and talking with others about health and nutrition.

His greatest joy was spending time with his children, Mollie and Cooper.

He is remembered by his wife of 20 years, Amy; daughter, Mollie; son, Cooper; father, Robert Caldwell; mother, Mary Caldwell (Steve Nelson); father and mother in-law Richard & Barbara Loomis; brother, Chris (Shawnda) Caldwell; brother in-law Jeremy (Jana) Nandory; Uncle ‘Buck’ Chris & Auntie Karen Preston; and other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph & Delores Caldwell, and Bernard & Mary Stackhouse.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Haven Church, 3518 Deerfield Road in Eau Claire. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12:00 PM.
