Maureen Jane Nadeau

Maureen Jane Nadeau, age 71, of Sheboygan, WI, passed peacefully into eternity on June 6, 2026.

Maureen was born on June 28,1955 in Springfield, MA to Mark and Margaret (Scully) Marquette. She was raised in Massachusetts, but for more than four decades she made her home in Wisconsin. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Maureen was a shy and quiet person, but her sweet smile and loving spirit were a blessing to those who came to know her. She also had a gift for crocheting, and her colorful afghans now grace many homes.

Maureen is survived by her beloved son, Eric Nadeau, and her sisters, Nancy (Curtis) Mizzell and Geraldine Wende. She is also survived by three other children, Michael Nadeau, Michelle Peltier, and Sara Rutherford, as well as her close friend and "adopted sister," Karen Humiston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Margaret Marquette, and a brother, Mark Marquette Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sheboygan.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family.
