Matthew Forseth

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Matt Forseth, age 49, on June 1st, 2025.

Matt was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, brother, uncle and an unwavering friend to all who knew him. His love will continue through his beloved wife, Jodi, parents Charles and Nancy, brother Lars and his three extraordinary children-Morgan, Jackson, and Dominick, along with his cherished granddaughters Adelynn and Callahan.

Matt lived with a spirit of adventure and generosity that touched everyone around him. He and Jodi shared a love for travel, exploring the world together and creating unforgettable memories along the way. Whether it was casting a line in the water, playing a round of golf, or simply enjoying quiet moments with his family, Matt found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

He will be remembered for his genuine heart, sense of humor, caring nature, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. Matt had a way of making people feel seen and supported, and his kindness left a lasting impact on those lucky enough to know him.

Though gone far too soon, Matt's legacy lives on in the love he poured into his family, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched with his compassion and warmth.

A celebration of Matt's life will be held at his parents' home on June 7th at S5860 Jackpine Road, Augusta from 1 - 4. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share their memories.

Matt, your presence will be missed every single day, but your love and humor will remain with us always.
