Marvin Clarence Riemenschneider, age 90, of Eau Claire passed away on June 24, 2026. God gave him 90 amazing years to share with family and friends

Marvin was born in St. Paul, MN, on March 15, 1936, the son of Clarence and Frances Riemenschneider Marv graduated from Harding High School in 1955. Marv served in the Army and then returned home to attend St. Paul Area Vocational -Technical School which was the spring board of his career as a machinist for 46 years. Marv worked 26 years at Capital Gears in St. Paul, MN and 16 years at Cray Research/Celestica in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Marv married Bev, the love if his life, in 1965. They located in Hudson, WI where they started their journey of life together and raised their two sons Troy and Tim. Family was a priority with Marv and Bev. They enjoyed family vacations at the lake in Hayward and swimming pool parties at home. Marv always worked two jobs. His second job usually was building houses or helping others with projects. Marv built 3 houses in Hudson. They relocated to Eau Claire, WI in 1984, where they built 3 houses as well. Marv and Bev were a team, designing houses together and then building them on nights and weekends. Marv was a very talented carpenter that allowed him to do all aspects of home building. His greatest craft was trim and building cabinets.

Marv enjoyed so many activities in life. He was an avid downhill snow skier and ski jumper. Marv traveled the western states to fulfill his skiing passion. Many spring and fall days you could find Marv with his sons hunting turkeys and the big bucks.

Marv is survived by his sons Troy (Connie), Tim Riemenschneider; sisters, Judy Vizenor, Sherry Wildenauer and Janet Pariseau; grandchildren Jayde (Mike) Doering. Taylor (Ricky), Shelby Riemenschneider, Matthew Gonyea, Jon (Nikki) Schoch, Christi (Nick) Oeltjen, and Sarah (Austin) Ludowese. Adam (Taylor), Jack (Aly), Tyler (Jessica) Riemenschneider; Great grandchildren Elliot and Alex Doering, Payton and Quinn Oeltjen, Magnolia and Scottie Ludowese, and many nieces and nephews

Marv was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Frances, and his wife Beverly.
The family of Marv would like to thank the Mayo Hospital staff for the loving care during his stay.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 1712 Highland Ave, Eau Claire with Fr. Francis Thadathil officiating. Burial with full military rites will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Eau Claire.
