Mark Allen Timmer, 64, of Luck, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, after a short battle with kidney cancer.
Mark was born on October 14, 1961, to Clarence and Gladys (Kervina) Timmer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the second youngest of seven children. In 1962, the family moved to a farm in Brook Park, Minnesota, where Mark made many fond memories-especially of his dog, Red. They returned to Minneapolis in 1965, and Mark later graduated from South High School in 1979.
After graduation, Mark went straight into the trades, quickly discovering both a passion and a natural talent for carpentry. He started his own exterior business in the early 1990s and continued that work for more than 30 years. In 2017, he moved to Spooner, Wisconsin, where he founded Marcus Windows, specializing in window and door replacements.
Mark had a radiant smile and an infectious laugh, and he was always quick to make friends. He found great joy in fishing with his buddies-from lakes across Minnesota and Wisconsin, to deep-sea excursions in Florida, and repeated walleye trips on the English River in Ontario, Canada. He loved listening to the oldies, from Dean Martin to Hank Williams Jr. and George Jones. He also enjoyed classic movies and old westerns, especially those starring John Wayne. Mark had a deep interest in history, politics, and current events and was always ready for a good conversation.
He cherished his winters visiting friends in Arizona and exploring the desert with the Yuma ATV Club. During the summers, he often traveled with friends to local classic car shows, proudly taking home a first-place trophy at Lucky Days in 2018.
Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lottie Mae Kervina; his parents, Clarence and Gladys Timmer; and his brothers, Clarence, Clark, and Mike Timmer.
He is survived by his daughter, Katie Timmer; granddaughter, Lola Timmer; and his sisters, Linda (Kevin) Driscoll, Janice (Larry) Pomerleau, and Sharon Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews.
