Lucy Ann Lawler, 70, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 7, 2025 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Lucy was born August 16, 1954, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to her parents Richard and Odetta Bresina.
Lucy graduated from St. Croix High School, Solon Springs, Wisconsin in 1971.
Lucy married Jack Lawler on November 14,1970 at Presbyterian Church, Bennett, Wisconsin. Lucy was married to her high school sweetheart for 54 years. They raised their three daughters in the Solon Springs, Wisconsin area for 15 years, then moved their family to Altoona, Wisconsin where they adopted their son and lived for 16 years before they moved to Chippewa Falls.
Lucy loved to knit, crochet and work on her needlepoint. She loved to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren and liked to spoil them with McDonalds gift cards and M & M's. She loved her dogs, Fawn and Billy Bob. When Lucy and Jack could travel more Lucy enjoyed riding the 4- wheeler up north and spending time with family and friends.
Remaining to cherish Lucy's memory are her husband, Jack; her children: Bobbi Jo (Dan) Wagner of Bloomer, Kimberly (Chad) Halvorson of Colfax, Amy (Mike) Belden of Altoona and Casey Lawler of Chippewa Falls. Her grandchildren: Brittany (Josh) Canfield, Jack (Shylo) Halvorson, Katie (Austin) Thompson, Deana Holtet, Zavon Belden, Jeremia Belden and Nova Belden and seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Lynn Olson, Nancy (Kim) Simenson, Timothy (Geri) Bresina, Rick Bresina and Chip Bresina.
Preceding Lucy in death are Lucy's parents Richard and Odetta Bresina.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following at Lifespring Fellowship Church, 341 W Prairie View Rd, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Lunch will be served.
