Loris Gund

Loris T. Gund, 75, of Eau Claire Wisconsin passed away at Mayo Clinic on October 18th, 2025.

Loris was born in Eau Claire on August 22nd 1950. She graduated from Regis High School and continued her education at the vocational school in Eau Claire.

Loris was married to Roger Flaskrud on July 28th 1984. They were married for 41 years.

Loris worked in retail throughout the years. She had a love of animals and flowers. She was a member of the St. Olaf church.

Loris is survived by her husband Roger Flaskrud her daughter, Anne Flaskrud, stepson Jeff Flaskrud, her two sisters, Rita Shay and Erin (Gary) Nesgooda, many nieces and nephews, and family and friends.

Loris is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marjorie Gund and her brother-in-law Bernard Wedland.

The wake will be at the VFW on Starr in Eau Claire on Friday October 24th 2025 from 2pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, a simple donation to a local animal shelter in her name would be preferred.
