Lois Carol Mork Miller was born to Arthur and Hazel (Olson) Mork January 6, 1940. She died April 23, 2025. Lois would like to be remembered as one who loved God, her family, children and friends.
She was a school teacher for 30 years with a majority of those years in the Cameron School District, an active, faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church, a vibrant leader in Stonecroft ministries (Christian Women's Club) and a Hospice volunteer for many years.
She is survived by her husband Dick Miller, sons Brian and Tina Miller of Ashland, Brent and Jamie Miller of Montello, Bradley "Gus" and Kim Miller, of Rice Lake, grandchildren, Andrea Kohnke, Eva Thewis, Abby Miller, Lindsey Norgard, Nate Sirek and Hunter and Angie Miller and great grandchildren Reese Kohnke, Jayce Kohnke, Cal and Max Sirek. George, Clifford, Byron Thewis, Hazel Norgard, Alayna Haite, Gracee and Emmitt Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers DeWayne and Gene.
Lois made a profound impact on the people who were part of her life, from a kindergarten student to a hospice patient and everyone in between. If you had the beauty of calling Lois a friend, you had a friend indeed. Hers was a life well lived.
Hospice is an organization that Lois was proud to serve as a volunteer and received beautiful care as a patient herself.
Memorials will be shared between MMC Hospice and Faith Lutheran Church.
There will be a visitation on Friday, May 2 at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran on Saturday, May 3 at 11 am. A reception will follow at The Mill in Chetek, Wisconsin.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
