November 20, 1956 - July 2, 2026

Linda Lou Hausch (née Pape), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Linda's Life

Linda was born on November 20, 1956, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital to Melvyn and Germaine Pape. On May 3, 1975, she married the love of her life, Lawrence Hausch Sr. Together they shared more than 51 years of marriage, building a life full of love, family, and memories.

Linda and Larry raised their family in Waukesha before fulfilling a dream in 2005 by moving to Chetek, Wisconsin, a place they had always loved as their favorite vacation destination. Chetek became home, and Linda remained there until her passing.

Linda found happiness in the simple things that made life special. She enjoyed sewing, spending time outdoors, listening to country music, taking walks, completing word searches, and riding on the Harley with her husband Larry. She treasured caring for her grandchildren and creating memories at annual deer camp.

She especially loved decorating her home for Halloween and Christmas, baking her famous Christmas cookies, and preparing meals that brought her family together around the table. Her home was filled with warmth, love, and the traditions that meant so much to her.
