Linda Harris

January 13, 1945 — April 28, 2025

Linda Rose Harris (Centanni), age 80, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away peacefully at Mayo-Bloomer on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Linda was born in San Francisco on January 13, 1945 to Angelo and Mary Jane Centanni. She was married to Don Harris on August 15, 1964 and they were married for 45 years. Linda and Don married in San Francisco but relocated to Don's home state of Wisconsin a few years later. Linda and Don founded Rosy's Tacos in Chippewa Falls in 1985. In her working life, Linda worked as a school bus driver for the Bloomer and Chippewa Falls School Districts for a total of 37 years. The kids that rode her bus became an extended part of her family.

Her love of travel took her on a multitude of cross-country trips by semi, motorcycle, car, plane, train and cruises. Food and friends became a great pairing for Linda as every Tuesday and Friday she would gather with her friends at local restaurants to share a meal with and converse. Family was a huge part of her life as she enjoyed making many memories while playing various card games, going out and about, and the frequent calls for tech support.

Linda is survived by her daughter Lorna (Mike-her favorite son-in-law) Wells, her son Brandon, grandchildren Nicholas (Hannah) Wells, Madalyn (Austin) Bailey, Chezny and Draven Harris, great-grandchildren Lucas Wells and Kaycen Bailey and her dear friend Joel Hedrington.

She is preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents and her brother Phil Centanni.

The celebration of Linda's life will be held from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Friday May 9, 2025, at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona. A private family burial will take place on a later date. Her one true love was San Francisco, which will be her final resting place.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.cremationsociety-wi.com.
