Kyler John Goetzke
July 20, 2026 - October 2, 2026
Kyler John Goetzke, precious infant son of Jonathan Goetzke and Emily Voorhies, passed away on October 2, 2026, at just two months old.
Kyler was born on July 20, 2026, and although his time here was far too brief, the love and happiness he brought into the lives of his family will last forever.
Kyler was a sweet and incredibly happy baby whose beautiful smile could brighten any room. From the moment he entered this world, he was surrounded by a family who absolutely adored him. Every cuddle, every smile, and every precious moment with Kyler became a gift that his family will carry in their hearts for the rest of their lives. Kyler was baptized on September 20th, 2026, but Jesus said "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 19:14, Baptismal Sponsors - Courtney Voorhies and Warrington Greengrass.
Kyler is survived by his loving parents, Jonathan Goetzke and Emily Voorhies; his maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Johnson, his paternal great-grandmother and great-grandfather Patricia Lewallen and Jerry Darrow; his paternal grandmother, Connie Goetzke and maternal grandmother and grandfather Roxanne Voorhies and Timothy Voorhies; his special uncle/brother, Jaxsun Voorhies and special friend Geneva; his maternal aunt and godmother Courtney Voorhies, his paternal aunt and uncle, Ryan and Aly Lewallen, parents of, Aiden, Olivia, Sophia, Ella, Addelyn, Jaxson, and Andrew, Kyler's first cousins, his maternal great aunt and uncle Shelly and Rolly Hanks, parents of Josh and Tammy, his maternal great aunt and uncle Terri and Wally Shafer, parents of Spring and Branon, and Christina, and his godfather, Warrington Greengrass; as well as many family members and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Kyler was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Gary Jacobson, Shirley and Harley Ankeny, Tom Voorhies, and paternal great-grandfather Leonard Lewallen; his paternal grandfather, John Goetzke; his maternal great-aunt and great-uncle, Renee and John Jacobson, parents of Micah and Shara, Katie and Namen, Nikki and Cody, Cory and Brooke, and Sara and Ethan, his maternal great aunt and uncle Rhonda and Dean Junge, his maternal aunt Connie Voorhies, parent of Connie Jo and Paul, Heather, and Frankie and Joedy, his paternal great aunt Lori Lewallen and his paternal uncle, Andrew Goetzke.
Though Kyler's life was heartbreakingly short, it was filled completely with love. He will forever be remembered for his sweet smile, his happy spirit, and the immeasurable joy he brought to everyone fortunate enough to love him.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with services to be held at 2:00 PM at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel in Altoona, WI where family and friends may gather to honor Kyler, remember his precious life, and surround his family with love and support.
Kyler may have only been here for a moment, but the imprint he left on the hearts of those who loved him will last a lifetime.
