Kris Michael Long

On Wednesday August 5, 2026 Kris Michael Long passed away after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kris was born on January 30, 1961 and lived most of his life in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He joined the Army in 1981 and stayed until 1984 working as a medic. He then joined the National Guard and again worked as a medic until 1992. He became an RN and worked in the medical field for 30 years

Kris loved all animals. He was preceded in death by his beloved dog Bosco.

He is survived by many friends who will truly miss his friendship and never-ending sense of humor. Kris was respected for his intelligence and his knowledge of trivia, especially on rock and roll.
