Kevin Harris Stennes, 76, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on the morning of June 8, 2025 after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. A private celebration of life will be held for close family.
Kevin was a loving Husband to Michelle for 35 years, a proud Father to 8 amazing children, and a special Grandfather to 12 grandchildren. Kevin was born and raised on a farm in Ada, MN. He graduated from Borup High where he was a star running back on the football team. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kevin was very passionate about sports, coaching, and knowing every single player or statistic on any given team he was watching.
In Kevin's younger years you could find him driving school bus - where he met Michelle, doing a major home renovation, or woodworking with a cigarette in his mouth and a beer close by. Later in life, he enjoyed working in the yard, doing home projects, putting food in the crock pot, or sharing his love for sports with his children. You could find Kevin coaching one or all of his children in basketball or teaching them how to mow their sections of the lawn. Kevin loved to teach his children the things they would need to know to make it in the real world and he valued hard work. With him, it was first place or try harder. He lived a simple life. He was a pig farmer by trade - but a resilient, loving, passionate, funny, fiery guy by heart.
Kevin is survived by his Wife, Michelle; his Children, Jason, Joe, Aaron, Nic, Rachel, Lindsay, Jordan, and Alex; his Grandchildren, Chase, Landon, Dominic, Malia, Mikah, Max, Zayne, Rylin, Cara, Hadlee, Jaxon, and Paisley; his Sisters, Karen, Gerri, and Lori.
