Kevin Comerford

Kevin Comerford 69, of Altoona unexpectedly passed away September 9th, 2025 peacefully resting in his easy chair. Kevin was born in Decatur, IL April 15th 1956 to Daniel and Helen Comerford.

Kevin was a gifted carpenter and physical therapist. He enjoyed the stock market, writing, traveling adventures, scuba diving, martial arts, and studying Spanish. He took great pride remodeling and building a beautiful family home with his own two hands.

Kevin found his soul mate Angie in 2000 and together created a beautiful blended family, "his, hers and ours". Kevin lived with a deep sense of righteousness acting with honesty and fairness.

Survivors include his wife, Angie; children: Sean (Kenzie) Eau Claire WI, Adam Winona MN, Katherine Hopkins MN, Shawn (Gretchen) Eau Claire WI and Mitchell (Olivia) Eau Claire WI; and his brother Daniel, San Dimas, CA.

He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Helen Comerford and in-laws Nancy and Perry Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
