Kenneth William Nelson

Kenneth (Kenny) William Nelson, age 29, of Maple Grove, MN passed away in Eau Claire, WI June 8th, 2026.

Kenny will be remembered for his infectious smile, kind heart, warm spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. Kenny had a way of making people feel welcomed and loved, leaving lasting impressions on anyone who knew him. He was a free spirit that lived his life to the fullest. Though his life was brief, Kenny's story is one that reflects both love and struggle. In honoring his memory, we hope to raise awareness about addiction and the importance of compassion, support, and understanding of those who are affected.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Karrie Nelson (Eric Kilgore), father Daniel Nelson, brother Charlie Nelson; stepbrother Eric Jr. Grandmother Annette Haugen (Gary Pelkey), Grandfather Gerald Nelson, Great-Grandfather Darrell Stewart; Aunts Shana Anderson, Krista Larson (Eric) and Julie Nelson. Cousins Nicholas Larson (Emily), Joel Delmonico (Taylor), and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and countless friends of the family and friends who were his family.

Kenny is preceded in death by many beloved family members and many friends that also passed to soon in their young lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 27th, 2026, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church 11115 Hanson Boulevard NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433. Please enter through door 1.
