Julie Martineau

Julie A. Marineau, age 56 of Altoona, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 surrounded by family. Julie was born in Minnesota to the late Ralph and Donna Brown.

When she was a young girl, the family moved to Altoona. Julie graduated from Altoona High School in 1987 and later earned her Administrative Assistant degree from CVTC.

Julie loved her family dearly and spent as much time as she could with them. She enjoyed her close net of friends, her dogs and reading. Julie chose to retire early due to health reasons.

She is survived by her husband Curtiss; daughter Mackenzie (Alex) Strauch; her dog, Ozzy and grand dogs Hank and Willie; father-in-law Richard (Judy) Martineau; sister-in-law Heather Martineau; cousin-in-laws Rob (Brenda) Martineau; and close aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents and mother-in-law Kathy Martineau.

Funeral services for Julie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona with Pastor Nick Henseler officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 8 at the funeral home from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington.
