Joseph (Joe) Valleau, 86, of Eau Claire.
Joe passed away on January 3, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1939, to his parents, William and Mildred Valleau.
Joe was a kind, generous, and fun-loving man who would help anyone in need. He had a remarkable way of making friends everywhere he went, and his quick wit and sense of humor could light up any room. If he knew you loved something, he was always on the lookout for that special item-sometimes before you even asked-bringing joy to those around him.
He was an avid collector, with Star Wars being his favorite, along with dragons, wizards, and all things imaginative. His collections reflected his curiosity, creativity, and playful spirit, which he carried with him throughout his life.
Joe was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, known for his steady presence and quiet strength. He lived his life with integrity, humor, and a deep love for his family. To those who knew him, Joe was a wonderful man whose generosity and warmth left a lasting impression.
He spent his life building meaningful relationships and creating memories that will be treasured forever. His wisdom, compassion, and gentle spirit will continue to guide those who loved him. He was incredibly proud to witness five generations of his family, and they carry his legacy on with gratitude and love.
Over the years, he stood as a father figure to the Westside children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
Joe has now gone to be with God, reunited with the loved ones who went before him, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Valleau; his brother, William (Bill); his sisters, Mildred (Cookie), Laverne (Lolly), Rosie, and Beatrice; his daughter, Toni, and his granddaughter, Ashley.
Joe is survived by his children: Holly Williams (Heath), Tani Flynn, Troy Valleau (Julie), and Joel Valleau (Tina); his Brother, Charles Valleau; his Sister, Sandra Puchalla (John); his grandchildren: Brandon Belknap, Aaron Belknap, Jason Belknap, Heather Snyder (Josiah), Jennifer Simonson (Mike), Christopher Flynn (Heather), Shannon Simonson (Jeremy), Tara Wojcik (Tyler), Thomas Valleau (Mallorie), Amber (Cody), and Cody Valleau; great-grandchildren: Natalie (Damon), Noah (Grace), Sienna, Cameron (Luz), Chloe (Leeland), Jordyn, Mia, Anastasia, Arionah (Jacob), Beau (Abbey), Channelle, Harper, Hazel, Cameron, Jazelle (Kyler), Gavin, Owen, and Briah; great great-grandchildren: Maxon, Cassie, Maverick, and Donavan; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on January 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Seymour Town Hall, 6500 Tower Drive, Eau Claire, WI. The family is grateful for all the love and support during this time.
Joe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generosity, humor, passions, and the way he made everyone around him feel seen, cared for, and genuinely happy.
