Joseph Ferraro, 85, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, in Tomah, Wisconsin.
Born on May 21, 1940, at his childhood home in Rockford, Illinois, Joseph was the son of Joseph and Anna Ferraro. Joe joined 2 older sister Prudence and Clara.
In August 1963, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably as an Airman until 1965. His time in the military was a meaningful chapter that reflected his dedication and service.
Joe was a man that could hold a conversation and make people laugh no matter where he was. He was knowledgeable in many areas of life from engineering to Apple orchards.
He is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Bryan (Amanda) and Jesse (Holly), and five grandchildren: Skyla, Katelynn, Wyatt, Jemma, and Millie. His brother-in laws Dell (Joyce), Donnie, Bob (Berta), Dave (Betty) and Joe. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Joseph shared more than fifty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bonnie. Their enduring bond remained strong throughout their lives together until her passing.
Joe joins his parents Joseph and Anna in eternal life along with sisters Prudence and Clara. He also joins his father and mother-in-law George and Leona. He also joins VI (Vernon), Buzz, Dean (Gail), John, Susie (Don) and Wayne.
The Ferraro family would like to thank the Tomah Nursing and Rehab for the generous care and compassion they showed Joe while he was there. Per Joe's wishes no memorial will be planned. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
