Joseph Buchholz

Joseph H. Buchholz, age 86 of Eau Claire, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Joe was born on October 3, 1938 in Eau Claire to the late Harry and Lorraine Buchholz.

Joe was very musically inclined and played in a band during his teenage years. He was a member of the National Guard and was honorably discharged.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, going to the American Legion Post 53 on Water Street and watching Packer games.

He married the former Beverly Lindow and they had 4 children. Theresa, BethAnn, Mike and Lisa.

Joe is survived by his children Mike Buchholz and Lisa (Robert) Schoettle; grandchildren: James Robert (Stephane) Schoettle, Lindsey McMahon and Jacob (Stephanie) Schoettle, Tom Buchholz, Hannah Buchholz, Misty Isham and Amber Ball; great-grandchildren: Trent, Payton, Deacon, Aaron, Alana, Natalee, Jaylen, Javarias, Lucilleya, Lakeria, Leannah, Audrina and Adalind.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Beverly and daughters Theresa and BethAnn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2347 Rambil Ct, Eau Claire from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Private family graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington.
