Jill Michael

Jill S. Michael, born Jill Sandra Moore, February 15, 1937 in Eau Claire Wisconsin, went

home to be with her heavenly father on October 2nd, 2025.

Jill grew up in Eau Claire's Shaw town. While she worked summers at the Carson Park

ballpark, she had lots of fond memories of Hank Aaron playing there.

Jill joined the Air Force after high school, she worked in communications and intelligence.

The Air Force took her to Texas, Wyoming and eventually California, where she met and

married Alvin G. Michael in 1957. She spent the next 20 years as an Army wife, traveling

nationally and overseas while raising 3 young sons.

After returning to Eau Claire, Jill worked at Royal Credit Union for fourteen years. She loved

to read books, cook, bake and take care of her family. She especially loved baking cookies

for her weekly volunteering shift at the local Red Cross. They affectionately called her

Grandma.

Jill was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike of 68 years, parents Agatha &

Harold Moore, brothers Jack, Bob, Joe, sister's Nancy and Janet.

Jill is survived by her sons, Timothy, Kim (Kathy), Glenn (Gail), her grandchildren Andrew,

Danny, Christopher, Sarah, Aaron, Ezra and 2 great grandsons.

Calvary Baptist Church, 3036 Epiphany Lane in Eau Claire will hold a church service on October 25,2025. Time to be announced.
