Jenaya Deiss

Our cherished Jenaya N. Deiss, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born in Eau Claire on September 3, 2010, the only daughter of Lacey Deiss.

Jenaya's favorite pastime was getting all the many pets as well as spending time with friends and family. Jenaya was an adventurer at heart who loved waterfalls, hiking, mountain trails and filling her phone with photos of nature.

She wrote wonderful short stories and enjoyed decorating her room with her creative artwork and favorite items. Most of what she learned, she received from her mom. Jenaya had an unconditional love for her mother who fought for years for her protection.

Jenaya is survived by her loving mother, Lacey Deiss; great-grandparents: Elvin and Judith Stoner, and Vivian Erickson; grandparents: Scott and Sheila Erickson; aunt Wendy Deiss; uncle Jacob (Hannah) Erickson; and many loving cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe be given to the family for a future memorial in Jenaya's name.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
