Jeffrey E Biesecker

Jeffrey E. Biesecker, age 80, of Altoona, passed away at his home on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Jeffrey was born in Eau Claire to Hazel and Orville Biesecker on July 27, 1945. He graduated from Altoona High School in 1963 and continued his education at Chippewa Valley Technical College where he received an associate's degree in carpentry.

Jeff was married to the love of his life Jean Licht on August 19, 1967 where they spent the next 58 years of their lives together.

Jeff worked at Uniroyal in Eau Claire for 24 years until its closing in January of 1992. After a change of careers, Jeff and Jean decided to purchase the Sunrise Resort in Chetek and spent the next decade taking care of guests, meeting new people while maintaining friendships with the frequent flyers. When he wasn't working, Jeff was always staying active. He enjoyed helping renovate homes, fishing with various family and friends and spending time with his other children, his Boston Terriers. He was a wonderful husband, parent, grandparent and buddy to many, he will be missed.

Jeff is survived by his wife Jean; his children Lori and Amy Biesecker; grandchildren Alyx "Sid" Biesecker and Devin Brummond; sisters-in-law Sharon Paulson and Sue Biesecker and brother-in-law Mel Licht.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son Brian Biesecker; his brothers Larry and Donald; and his mother and father-in-law Clarence and Eileen Licht.

A private family burial will be taking place in the spring.
