Jan Albrecht

Jan Marie Albrecht, age 72 of Eau Claire, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 22, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1954 in Chippewa Falls to the late Lawrence and Arlene Wooldridge.

Jan was one of the nicest and kindest people you could ever know. Her favorite things were spending time with her kids and watching her grandchildren at their sporting events. Jan had a love for classic rock, enjoyed making cards "Stamping Up", road trips and gardening. She was an avid Vikings and Brewers fan and loved her pets dearly.

She married James Geurts and together they had a son, Eric. They would later divorce. On January 10, 1987, Jan married Terry Albrecht at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Terry; children: Eric Geurts, Ashley (Drew) Price and Joshua Albrecht; grandchildren: Kaylee, Cassandra, Maddux and Faye; her brother Dean Wooldridge; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents and sister-in-law Minerva Wooldridge.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane, Eau Claire with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. Visitation will be at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona on Sunday, February 1 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and again at the church on Monday starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls at a later date.
