James Kincaid Scott

James K. Scott, age 82 of Eau Claire, WI passed away March 9, 2026. He was born in Sacramento, CA to Arthur and Beulah (Stewart) Scott.

He attended Lima Grade School K-10, graduating from Durand High School in 1960. He joined the U.S. Navy from 1960-1963 as an electrical engineer on the USS Coral Sea aircraft carrier. After returning home, he worked on the railroad and at Uniroyal before retiring in Chippewa Falls as an electrician.

His passion in life was being on the golf course!

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pamela Scott (Shaker); his three stepchildren, Chad (Deb) Schuh, Jill (Kevin) Dawson, and Amy (Steve) Gretschmann; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, John (Linda) Scott; Kathy (Tom) Anderson; Pat (Karen) Scott; (Michealean (Scott) Kaeser; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Mike Scott and Dan Scott, his in-laws Leslie and Ilene Shaker, and brother-in-law, Gary Shaker.

Visitation will be at Stokes, Prock, and Mundt Funeral Chapel 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway Altoona, WI on Sunday, March 22 from 1 P.M. until 4 P.M. Burial will take place at a later date.
