Harvey Louis Hams

Harvey Louis Hams, age 89 of Eau Claire, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 6 with family at his side.

Harvey was born in Eau Claire on March 12, 1937 to William and Ruth Hams. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1955.

After graduating, Harvey worked as a bricklayer for 5 years before he began working at Uniroyal where he was outdoor maintenance for over 30 years until their closing. Harvey was an outdoorsman and an athlete at heart, he enjoyed everything from hunting, fishing and shooting trap, to playing fastpitch softball for Ray's Place and golfing. For a number of years, both he and his wife Charleen would travel down to Texas to escape the Wisconsin winters.

He is survived by his wife Charleen; children Tadd and Jodi; and 5 grandchildren T.J., Cory, Nicki, Anna and Calli; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his 3 siblings.

Per Harvey's wishes, there will be no services held.
