Harold Emery Jackson

Harold E. Jackson, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Colfax Senior Living Center.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judith; his two sons, Harold Jr. (Joyce) of Colfax and Brian of Fall Creek; and his two brothers, Jim (Pam) and Merlin (Lynda), both of Colfax.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Kasandra (Andrew) Noelle, and Viollet; great-grandchildren, Allen, Zoey, Travis, Emmett and Oakley; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Duane (Elaine) Sell, Marion (Mike) Stokes, Regina Sell, and Betty Sell; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Bess Jackson; his in-laws, Edwin and Viola Sell; and brothers- and sisters-in-law Steven Sell, Nancy and Terry Olson, Gary Sell, Geraldine Sell, and Donald Sell.

Harold worked at Johnson Printing, First Supply, and held various other jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed horses and horse pulls, hunting, fishing, and reading.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Colfax Senior Living Center for their understanding, compassion, and support.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona with Fr. Brendan Harris officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Fall Creek.
