Gloriann Heinemeyer

Gloriann G. Heinemeyer, age 92 of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at River Pines in Altoona. Gloriann was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of the late Knute and Lydia Erickson.

She graduated high school with the class of 1950 in Fargo and then went to college at North Dakota State University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics. While she was attending college, she would meet John Heinemeyer. They met on a blind date on October 10, 1951 and would marry on December 17, 1954.

Gloriann was a very talented seamstress, whom made lots of clothing for her children. She was a good cook, painter, enjoyed playing cards, engaging in conversations, going to the senior center to play bridge, shopping and could just about fix anything.

Survivors include her husband John of 70 years; children: Kim (Neil) Laberee, Lyn Kalina and John; grandchildren Jessica (Ryan) Patt, Jonathan Laberee, Susan Viehauser and Jack Heinemeyer; and sister-in-law Jane Serino.

Preceding her in death are her parents, and brother-in-law Robert Heinemeyer.

Private burial will take place at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.
