Francis (Frank) Lawrence Harris (66) went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on October 11th, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center, with his beloved wife, April by his side.
He was born Nov. 23, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI to Lawrence & Sharmein (Walloch) Harris. He was the oldest of 9 children. He graduated from Hancock High School Hancock, MI. He graduated from culinary school in 1982. He lived in MI, IL & WI throughout his life.
Frank would attest that he had a full life, which included some bad choices and rough patches. Frank became a new man when he met and gave his life to Jesus Christ. He married his wife April on March 17, 2014, and would brag to everyone about how he had hit the jackpot with winning the heart of this amazingly sweet and kind woman. With his new joy and purpose in life, he made it his goal to use his life experiences to help others to avoid similar paths. He wanted to use his remaining years introducing others to the hope, peace, joy & forgiveness that he found with Jesus Christ. He enjoyed being active at “Hub Life” church. He loved his dogs, the Brewers, the Cubs & good conversations. Frank loved to serve others, specifically through cooking and baking. He was never content with just the basic recipes. If you asked for a meal, he would make it gourmet with multiple flavors, sides, and desserts. He made dozens of loaves of bread to give away monthly. He has now been promoted to working in Heaven’s kitchen!
He is survived by his wife, April Harris (Marshfield), his children Curtis (Vickylee) Harris of Niles, MI; Eric Harris & Melissa (Cory) Stutzman both of Elkhart, IN, his grandchildren Ryan, Lillian, and Madeline Harris; his Step-sons Conrad (Laura) Schneider of Roanoke, VA, Arthur Schneider & Taylor Dickman both of Marshfield. He is survived by his brothers Larry Harris, Clayton (Lori) Joyal, Brian (Rachael) Joyal, Sisters Lucynda (Bill) Mauldin, and Sherry Hanner also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to Frank’s parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Curtis & Ruben Harris and Debra Novak.
