Florence Anna Berseth

Florence Anna nee (Sciezor) Berseth was born to Mary and Michael Sciezor on October 24, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away from this earth into her forever home on March 21, 2026. She was living at River Pines in Altoona at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her children Debra (Bruce) Freeland of Altoona and Michael (Jayne) Berseth of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren Heidi Stock (Randy Franz) of Elk Mound, Craig (Linda) Stock of Ladysmith, Bruce Freeland Jr. of Menomonie, Brian (Sarah) Berseth of Chippewa Falls, Jodie (Tyler) Haas, Marrisa Berseth and many other great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Berseth; son Tom Berseth; parents Mary and Michael Sciezor; brother Harry; sister Eleanor Kacera and granddaughter Melissa Freeland.

A service will be at held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, April 16 at St. John's Lutheran Church 1805 Highland Ave. Eau Claire. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until time of service.

Our mom was under the care of St. Croix Hospice at the time of her passing. She received excellent and loving care from them and the staff at River Pines. Thank you all for your loving hearts, our mother looked forward to seeing the smiles on your faces and knowing she was well cared for and treated like family. God bless you all.
