Elaine Jeanne Bowe

Elaine Jeanne Bowe (nee Mickelson) passed away on May 24, 2026 following a brief illness. She was born on February 10,1950, to Clarence "Gib" Mickelson and Lucie (Agez) Mickelson and was the third of five children. She grew up in Cadott, Wisconsin.

Elaine married Steven G. Bowe on November 14, 1970, and they spent most of their 55 years together in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Together they raised six children, who she loved deeply and took great pride in. Many knew her as the "tool lady" from her many years working in the tool department at Farm & Fleet. She enjoyed playing word games and all things butterfly.

Elaine was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses on July 4, 1975. She served as a volunteer minister for more than 50 years and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. Her hope in the resurrection and life on paradise earth brought her comfort in her final days.

Elaine is survived by her husband Steven; her children: Stephanie (Mike) Reardon, Jon (Tiffany) Bowe, Mandy Gehler, Aarin (Lee) Erickson, Cory (Lisa) Bowe and Ben (Libby) Bowe; her sister: Johanne (Rick) Pfaff and Mary (Dan) Deardoff; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gib and Lucie Mickelson; her beloved sister Ruth Pharris; and her brother, Mike Mickelson.

A memorial service will be held on June 27, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3400 Horlacher Lane, Eau Claire, WI, 54701. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm, with the memorial service to follow at 3:00pm. Remote viewing will be over Zoom Meeting ID: 839 0062 3219/Passcode: 597381
