Donald Wayne Huset

Donald W Huset 77 of Dallas Wi. passed away peacefully on Monday March 30, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

Donnie was born June 16, 1948 to Oscar and Clara (Thompson) Huset of Dallas WI and graduated from the Barron High School class of 1966. In October 1966, he completed basic training at the U. S. Air Force base in Amarillo TX, as a mechanical engineer. During his Air Force career, he was deployed to Iceland and many European bases.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Clara Huset, brothers, Carl Huset, Leo Huset, sisters, Lorraine (Olga) Neilson, Eileen Gunderman, and Luella Rogers. Donnie is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A military service will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner WI. on April 17, at 1:00 PM. Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family.
